RTC SITES

CLASSES IN WESTERN BENTON COUNTY

In an effort to better meet the needs of the students in western Benton County.  Students from Gentry, Siloam Springs, Gravette and Decatur attend classes in Criminal Justice.  This is the second year  in service delivery for the RTC and we are very excited about the potential for future grown in western Benton County.

CLASSES IN ROGERS AT THE ANNEX

Students from Bentonville, Rogers, Pea Ridge attend classes in Criminal Justice.  This is a brand new innovation in service delivery for the RTC and we are very excited about the potential for future grown in Rogers.  If  RTC sees a need for more classes at the Annex we will be creating them for the students in spring of 09. 

SCHOLARSHIP TUITION FEES

Effective fall 2008, any high school student taking a concurrent class will receive a nonrefundable scholarship in the amount of 1.2 of tuition and fees for the concurrent class if taking a corresponding RTC Secondary Technical class regardless of the location of the class.

Stipulations:

• Students must take a concurrent class to receive the RTC Secondary Technical Scholarship.
• Only one scholarship for ½ of tuition and fees will be applied for each concurrent class.
• No scholarship is awarded unless student is enrolled in RTC Secondary Technical class also.
• Scholarships awarded for spring and fall semesters only.  No scholarships for summer.

Examples:

Student takes only a concurrent class (any NWACC campus/center)

No scholarship

Student pays tuition and fees

Student takes 1 RTC Secondary Technical class (any campus/center) and 1 Concurrent class (any NWACC campus/center)

High school pays for technical class

½ Concurrent class tuition and fees paid by the RTC Secondary Technical (nonrefundable) Scholarship

Student pays remaining balance of tuition and fees

Student takes 2 RTC Secondary Technical classes (any campus/center) and 1 or more concurrent classes (any NWACC campus/center)

High school pays for technical classes

½ Concurrent class tuition and fees paid by the RTC Secondary Technical (nonrefundable) Scholarship for 2 concurrent classes

Student pays remaining balance of tuition and fees
